Information and notices
Privacy notice
Reviewable web version based on the supplied operator details. This does not replace legal review.
This privacy notice applies to the PowerTech landing page at https://powertech.prenet.ae. It describes the currently intended technology and processing. The draft must be checked against the services and contracts actually used before publication; it is not legal advice and does not guarantee legal compliance.
Controller and contact
The controller for processing on this website is Karsten & Verena Wisian GbR, An den drei Steinen 57, 41352 Korschenbroich, Germany.
Privacy requests and general enquiries may be sent to powertech@prenet.ae or made by telephone at +49 172 57 167 57.
Hosting and technical logs
The website is hosted by Tasjeel and delivered through TLS/HTTPS. When the page is called, the hosting or web server may process technically necessary log data, in particular IP address, time, requested file, status and technical browser data. These data serve secure operation, error analysis and defence against attacks.
The specific server location, scope and retention period of hosting and web-server logs have not yet been contractually confirmed. No unsupported statement is made about them.
Contact form and data minimisation
The form requires first name, last name, email address and a choice of purpose (contact or registration request). Desired username and “Recommended by” are optional. A message is required for an information request and optional for an registration request.
Optional information is processed only if you provide it. Please send only data necessary for your request, and no confidential data or third-party data without authority. Providing a desired username neither creates an account nor reserves a username.
Purposes and legal bases
We process form data to answer your contact request or process your voluntary registration request. Where the GDPR applies, this is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR when an enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in proper handling under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Where the GDPR applies, we process technical log data and security data for secure provision, abuse prevention and enforcement of technical safeguards on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Email delivery and recipients
After submission, your message is transmitted by SMTP to powertech@prenet.ae. Your email address is used as Reply-To so that we can respond. Recipients are persons at Karsten & Verena Wisian GbR authorised to handle the matter and the hosting, SMTP and email providers actually used where technically necessary.
No account is automatically created, no automatic registration takes place and no username is reserved.
Security and abuse prevention
The form uses stateless CSRF protection with an HMAC token. No cookies or local storage are used for this protection. The secret key remains protected on the server.
To prevent spam and abuse, a hashed value of the IP address is processed together with a time window. A 15-minute window applies per IP address; old rate-limit files are cleaned up. These data are not used for visitor analytics.
No analytics and local media
No analytics or remarketing services, Facebook, Instagram or X plugins, newsletters, comments, login functions or payment functions are used. Videos are hosted locally; YouTube and Vimeo are not embedded.
According to the current implementation, no optional cookies or local storage are used for the described functions. Technical changes must be assessed for data protection before they are implemented.
Telegram
The reference to Telegram (@Verwi67) is an external link. Telegram is called only after your deliberate click. From that point, Telegram’s privacy information and terms apply; we have no control over processing there.
Retention and transfers
Form data and emails are retained only as long as necessary to deal with the matter. Statutory retention duties and retention necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims remain unaffected. Security data are processed for their purpose within the stated window; old rate-limit files are cleaned up.
Whether hosting, email processing or technical access occurs outside the EU/EEA, which server location applies and whether a data-processing agreement is needed or has been concluded must be checked against the Tasjeel services actually used before publication. Where the GDPR applies, a third-country transfer may take place only after its applicable basis under Chapter V GDPR has been determined. This draft neither claims a data-processing agreement nor blanket consent for third countries.
Your rights
Where the legal requirements are met, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority. Please send requests to powertech@prenet.ae.
If processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to that processing under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.
